I often wonder when I’m walking along steps of a history how I would have fit in probably would have got my posterior beat everyday but I digress.
I also wonder if the Old Saints, My Elders, Slaves, and their Masters now the tortured souls ever meet while walking do they ever meet and look at each other side eyed.
Because I’m a good Christian like my ancestors who wanted to believe that once my body is no longer there must be a Heaven where equality, peace and pray a colorless real love has to must exist.
I also wonder if when we meet our maker if there is a heaven for those that suffered here on these marked time steps there if there is equal Justice too.
Because I am of a Circa post slavery thanking God because I know a hard head does make a soft behind JMJ.
I am always thankful, grateful and most appreciative for those that did but sometimes angry.
Those times were not the “Good Old Days” for many but history has showed of in spite of warriors were created.

The worst thing of being in physical bondage is to be in mental bondage.
