I’ve always been of the mind that if you really love Savannah, you have to hate it a little bit. Sure, the starry-eyed can rent an Airbnb for a few days to gush over the pretty houses and mossy old charm, punchdrunk with the novelty of carrying a watered-down drink in a plastic cup down the street like it’s some peak experience akin to bathing in the fountain at Lourdes.
"Savannah Difficult" to me means that home improvement projects or repairs take five times as long as you had estimated they would (or should). I have been here 16 years and have mostly learned to roll with it. It will get done when it gets done. But I wouldn't live anywhere else as "Savannah Cool" outweighs the difficult!
Savannah Difficult? People don't want change unless they were the ones that came up with the change idea. Also, my native Savannah husband says "might could" all the time. The Might Could, might could be a good name for a southern rock band ;)
